Daniel Byrd is a Class A PGA Member, originally from EIkin, North Carolina.  The vast majority of his professional career has been in the Winston-Salem area. Starting in 1999 as an Assistant professional at Pine Brook CC, then moving on to work at Bermuda Run Country Club. At Bermuda Run he moved from Assistant to Head Golf Professional and Tournament Coordinator.  After Bermuda Run,  Daniel served as the Head Golf Professional at Salem Glen Country Club for four years.  Now he works full time at Tanglewood Park serving as the teaching professional and assistant golf professional. 

Teaching Philosophy 

I enjoy helping my students improve their games almost as much as I enjoy playing golf myself. Whether it be introducing a beginner to the game, watching active players progress and improve their games or helping competitive players prepare for their next competition, the most important role that I have as your coach is to clearly lay out steps that are required to take your game to the next level. By helping you understand how your golf swing works, your path to a more successful game becomes much clearer.
